Web Master Designs now working with Fionta

Web Master Designs is now working with Fionta, a technology company working for change. Fionta delivers Salesforce and web projects for non-profit and association clients. Web Master Designs has been assisting Fionta with a variety of client projects including Drupal migrations and maintenance, custom programming for clients, hosting solutions and feature enhancement/bug fixes.

The Phillips Collection Event Updates

After polling users and getting information on what improvements they would like, The Phillips Collection decided to revise how they handle events on their website to make it easier to find events and better organize how events are displayed. Web Master Designs updated the Drupal templates, created some new ones, added a filtering capability for events, and corrected some issues with pagination of the associated views that existed.

BART and TPC Switch to Drupal

With their current content management system (CMS) being discontinued, the Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) and The Phillips Collection (TPC) asked Web Master Designs to help them pick a new CMS and help manage the migration of their sites. After extensive analysis of available CMS products for these large sites (BART has 2,700+ pages, and TPC has nearly 2,000 pages plus 15,000 objects in their collection and library), both clients ultimately decided to go with Drupal.

Drupal Maintenance Case Study

Over the past few years, The Phillips Collection (TPC) has developed additional websites for teachers and for a special exhibition of Jacob Lawrence's "Migration Series" paintings. These were developed by outside contractors and then merged into The Phillips Collection's web server. Once hosted at TPC, the site maintenance was taken over by Web Master Designs.

Drupal Migration Case Study

In 2013, Adobe announced that it would discontinue the Adobe Publish CMS product. This affected two of Web Master Designs clients: BART and The Phillips Collection. We immediately started looking for alternative CMS products that would provide similar functionality at a reasonable price. Although each client had different requirements, technical capabilities, and financial resources, after an extensive review of various products, they both decided to use Drupal.
