Overview
Over the past few years, The Phillips Collection (TPC) has developed additional websites for teachers and for a special exhibition of Jacob Lawrence's "Migration Series" paintings. These were developed by outside contractors and then migrated onto The Phillips Collection's web server. Once hosted by TPC, the site maintenance was taken over by Web Master Designs.
Project
Web Master Designs was consulted throughout the process of these sites being developed and was tasked with setting up the test/production environments on the TPC server. We also assisted with migrating the sites to these servers and with providing maintenance on the sites once they were hosted at TPC.
Solution
Web Master Designs has a lot of experience with maintaining Drupal 7 websites and was given the lead role in migrating these sites to the TPC servers. We have been responsible for maintaining the Drupal and contributed modules, while also providing additional maintenance and updates as needed by TPC.
Results
Web Master Designs is now maintaining multiple websites for TPC as well as its main Drupal website. This includes all security and priority updates to Drupal and contributed modules as well as additional enhancements and fixes to the sites, as requested by TPC.
Clients
The Phillips Collection opened to the public in 1921 and is America's first museum of modern art. It is a private institution that is not a part of the federal government. It relies for support on admission and program fees, endowment income, and generous assistance from individual donors, corporations, foundations, and others.
